Ghosts

Say what you want but I have seen things that even MY skeptic mind can’t explain. The wife and I are getting ready to buy a house and if the dog won’t go in, WE don’t go in!
This is a very wise position to take! I feel that everyone should watch "Deliver Us From Evil" a true story about Former NYPD Sergeant and practicing demonologist Ralph Sarchie.

So I recently saw I video where a fish saw and reacted to a ghost. Like there was a “invisible bang on the tank” and the fish supposedly saw the ghost before it banged on the glass. It got me wondering... do you believe in ghosts? What about animals seeing what we can’t see, what are your thoughts?
I know this is a weird thread, but was just curious.
Do you have a link to the video? Would be interesting to see.

Who knows? I could be completely wrong.

I am still a minor, so I have been raised to not believe in things as “crazy” as ghosts. So when someone is telling stories of “ghosts” I’m always thinking, “uhuh”.

Maybe it’s an incorrect position for me to take?

Mine were demons, not ghosts. Satanic creatures like in the Bible.

Well, it’s super hard for me to believe.

I mean, there’s got to be an explanation for everything. For example, I’m not saying your Granddaughter is a liar, but kids to tend to have a wild imagination.

The lights going on and off could be this:

“ A poor connection in your main circuit panel.

A more serious cause of your lights turning on and off repeatedly is a problem in the electrical connections in your home. If you've ruled out all of the possible causes listed above, it's time to call an electrician who can properly assess the issue for you.”

The rod in your closet could have fallen at any point, but it fell just then.

Someone “breathing on you” could have been your husband, or a pet, or the air conditioning.

Etc...
I agree, there had to be an explanation for it all. There is, there were demons in the house. First, it was my daughter, not my grand daughter, 2nd, How could the entire close rod lift up with all the clothes on it and then drop with no broken brackets? 3rd, we’d turn the light on and something turned the switch off, with us sitting there, several times...different rooms, different switches. What about the head board banging? We were adults experiencing this, not children. I understand you’re trying to make sense of it all but we couldn’t and neither can you. There were demons in that house. Pure evil!

Hm, interesting. Even after you telling me it again, I’m still skeptical.

But, that’s because I was raised not to believe in ghosts/spirits/demons. :dunno:

My point is, if you were raised as a child not to believe in dogs for example.

You keep hearing people talking about dogs and how dogs are great and such, but you are still skeptical because you were raised not to believe in dogs.

That’s just an example.

Dogs and cats also see different light spectrum than humans, so it is possible they are able to see energies or light anomalies we can’t. But, I also believe in ghosts hahah
I have numerous pets but since my dad died ( a huge animal lover and my best friend) first my dog, then my adult children's dogs all started going to the hearth, sitting and looking up into the high corner. I know there are spirits, but I can't call my dad a ghost.

In the end, we all reach a point where we begin to make our own decisions about what we believe in regardless of what we were raised on. You're almost at that age as well.
