next up is check water and cycle etc.. but here it is soo far..

pleased with how it looks.. just needs painting black and a crash helicopter ornament

really pleased with the changing dark to light effect good vs evil etc etc

figures have been checked and known to be safe in the water..

if i want to go fish in cycle then what are the best fish to go for?

zebra danios are a good choice.

Zebra Danios will tolerate ammonia and nitrite poisoning better than most fish, but why subject any fish to such an ordeal?

I'd always recommend a fishless cycle with bottled ammonia or obtaining sufficient mature media to start your tank with fish straight away with no cycling required.

Yes, its filter media (sponge etc) from an established tank's filter.

Basically, if you know someone who is willing to donate some, get as much as you can, keep it wet in transit and put it in your filter. The amount of fish you can add depends on how many were in the donor tank. For example, if you got 1/3 of the media from an established tank containing 12 angelfish, you could safely add up to 4 angelfish immediately. Make sense?

If I could, the pink gravel totally throws the tank off for me, IMO.

What would be pretty cool though is if you had the guy laying in the pink gravel, kinda like a pool of blood, maybe with one of the Locust near him. Now that would be sweet.

i think thats an awesome idea. if i were doing it, id really try to make it look like a messed up battle zone, see if u can get more rubble and like small skulls that are about the size of the figures heads? idk, could turn out awesome. im picturing something out of like terminator or something since i havent played GOW
