Funny Water Colour

hi,

i have a juwel 125 litre tank, over the last few weeks the water has a funny yellow tint to it, i thought i may have been the start of alge, and add the anti green solution, but its still there.

Could it be leeching from the bog wood, or is it a normal colour

it is from the wood wich is why i dont use it

It could be tanin leeching from the wood. It wont harm fish though. If you put a fresh carbon filter into your filter it should clear it up in a few days if it worries you.

Agreed!, one of the good uses for carbon.

The amount of time it takes to clear up varies a lot I've heard.
