Ok so you may have read my previous topics on what originally we thought was white spot on my angelfish.
Then some of the neons developed a mouth fungus, and the angels spots started to look fluffy rather than salt like. So I changed the treatment to myxazin to treat for fungus.
It's a 5 day treatment, and is supposed to be very good at curing it, according to you on here, and the lfs. But the treatment finished today and the fungus is still the same! It seems that one spot on the angel is gone, but the fluff around his top fin is still the same.
I have since managed to get some pimafix off ebay, as none of the shops sold it, and was thinking of trying this after the myxazin.
What else can I do? It just doesn't seem to want to shift. Can I continue using myxazin, or should I try the pimafix? I assume I'll have to do water changes before starting the new treatment.
All the fish seem healthy in themselves, all eating and behaving normally etc, they don't seem bothered by the fungus. They aren't flicking or rubbing or anything either.
Had water tested at the weekend, as was told bad water could stop treatments working, but all is normal.
