fry! fry! fry!

my heavily preg guppy gave birth to more than 40 fry and they have overun my 2g maternity tank.
but its worth the trouble

Are you planning on keeping them all? With that many fry it will be impossible to raise them to a decent size in a 2gal tank, so it might be best if you leave them in the main tank and let nature take its course for a while

Blimey, must look like fish soup in there! What do most people do with fry?. Do you give them to LFS or keep them?. That could cause a big case of MTS!!

Kazman: Well, when I had fry (males and females are now seperated), I gave some to my friend, who is a fishkeeper and also a member on here, and some to a few fish stores around here. These fish stores have pretty high standards, and they usually won't sell fish to people, unless they feel they are ready, so I wasn't too worried about my little babies (Okay....big, almost grown up babies).

Then I kept a few for myself.

ill probably raise them fer a month then give them to the store for credit.

You can go to the 'Member's Aquarium and Fish Pictures' section, and attach the picture from your computer there. Or, you could sign up a free hosting site like Photobucket and upload your pictures there. Once you uploaded them to Photobucket, copy the URL under the picture, click the IMG button on here, and paste the URL in. It should show up as a picture.

believe it or not she still has a few fry left in her
she'll probably drop the rest tonight

kazman, by the time i think up names for them all she'll give another batch

my guppies has dropped bout 15 fry ands she still looks heavily preggers.

gonna keep some and give the rest away to the LFS if they want them
