Hi guys.

recently got offered a rio 300 in excellant condition for a price i could not refuse,so i did'nt.

bought a few more rocks and plants and kpshipped everything over from the trigon. It is a work in progress and still have plenty to do, the fish are in and the scape was instantanious so will probably change ( the rio is so much easier ti scape than the trigon)p Heres a couple of pictures about an hour after the transition, the tank should be crystal clear by morning

Nope, I have ferts and liquid carbon but barely use them. Depending on how the severums are feeling they don't tend to last long looking good.

I have attached some java ferns and moss on the background, you can't really see it in the pictures. I just hope that they grow quickly before they get pecked at.

Looking really good :)

Took the rotkiel to Maidenhead today and a few other fish, gutted that I have to give it away! But I have my reasons also shifted a few fish from this tank and another on. It was a nightmare with the rio I had to dismantle the full tank to get the fish, never again lol.

But every cloud has a silver lining, I got a group of 6 Alestes longipinnis which should fit in well with my small group of congos and 2 new juvi cichlids, I'll post pictures later when they are acclimatised and settled in.

yeah please do. id like to see them. whats your filtration system and water change routine?

there is 2000 lph or there abouts filtration and a powerhead to keep good flow and get's rid of any dead spots, Water change routine for me is every 5-7 day with a minimum of 50% water being changed everytime and filter cleaned out fortnightly.
