Thanks Tom, that's good to hear.
The plants are very good quality because they are tropica.
I do indeed have plans for more stock. 2 nerite snails and 10 or so shrimp. I like the look of Bumble bee shrimps and crystal reds.

Shrimps would be great i think as they will help keep your hairgrass algae free. My shrimps done a good job on my other tanks hairgrass :)

love those fish!!! saw some in the lfs today was very tempted but something like £2 a fish and they were tiny

do they get much bigger?

lovely lookin tank :D

At the lfs i went to they were tiny. I'm certain that they've gotten bigger during when i made the purchase and now. Not to mention the colours are great now! Look just like the ones on PFK website.
I think PFK website said that the fish can get to 3cm. Im not sure though because at the moment i cant get onto the site.
Thank you for the comment :good:

:shifty: Just between you and me, Ive added 2 Zebra Nerites (thick stripe) and 5 Amano shrimp.

The plants have grown nicely and the overall shape is taking place. Will update with pics later today :D

:good: Look forward to it. Wish i could get some shrimps for my tank. However they would just become expensive food for my puffer lol :D

Back right hand corner is a little empty. This due to the Rotala sp. ''Nanjenshan'' (''Mayaca sellowiana'') stems not growing at all but sending out side shoots that are now starting to grow, but might take a while to get as high as the Rotala rotundifolia.

Some algae has appeared. It looks like BBA/BGA. Hope the snails and shrimp can help.

Still dosing 1ml of tropica fert everyday and the CO2 is 1bubble every 10secs. I think I will increase circulation by buying a HOB filter to accompany the existing filter.

Comments appreciated.

I agree, good choice of plants and some great fish and inverts as well.

Maybe you could prune some of the Rotala Rotundifolia half way down and replant it to get a nice bushy effect.

I will do that, it's just that I remember hearing that the plants shouldnt be pruned for 3 weeks. Anyone have any input on that?

Not ever heard of that. Ive cut my eloda densa 3 times in two weeks without any issues...should be fine.

Might just give that a go then.
Latest critters have settled in well. No dramatic reduce in algae but it's still early days.
