Found The Betta I Want!

Betta resistance is easily adverted by having 4" long gourami that would totally win in a fight. :p

He sure is nicely colored though. You could do a lfs run and get another tank...and then in the near future another tank, and another tank....Until you have more bettas than the lfs (!)

I already have a possible 5 tanks haha but hey the more the merrier lol

And I love gourmi I can just never seem to find any nice ones here, but I guess I I'm willing to buy off aquabid for a betta...

Wow! he's a pretty one.
See if you can get them to hold him for you.
Just thought I'd warn you that there is a chance the dragon's scales will grow over his eyes which I hear is bad.

He is stunning! You have to have him!
I wish we had aquabid here.  There are so many gorgeous ones. I saw the one at the lfs in that unusual chocolate colour it was so hard to walk away but I can't justify a 3rd tank :(

Lovely looking Plakat Dragon.
TIP: always have a Betta tank ready to set up quickly if needed, because Betta Resistance is Futile ;)
I sooo want to come and visit you one day RCA! :)

Good luck, let us know - do you have mature media to help you quick start the process incase?

, strong with real character, with the Plakat Genes.  He reminds me of my latest boy, who is turning out to be a little stunner, will get an up-to-date pic of him soon and post in this topic on him.

BTW, TT is correct re: dragon scales, my boy (in my profile pic) is OK at present but I can see scales beginning to form over his eyes.

You would be most welcome Shelster, maybe I could start a fish holiday camp, like they do open gardens

I guess you would be best suited to staying in my room (I would move out into the spare room of course) with the four aquariums in there!
hehe.gif
I recently added a couple of upgrades and am sorting the photos to show you all one of the replacement tanks
thumbs-up.gif
Of course you also may find that the spare room gets tanks in it before too long

I will go tomorrow, see if he is still there. He is in Dobbies stirling. If anyone is passing-check him out, gorgeous pale chocolate/cappuccino colour!
A 3rd tank...hmmm lol they do sell the small 19L tanks in B&M for £12.99 trust me I have thought about it for shrimp but it's just the thought of if I move i'm moving all these lol.

B&M =

When you moving?

Uhoh, Ny! We've got a B&M about 4½miles from here! I think I may have to investigate those tanks. At that price it's a snip!
Is 19L big enough for a betta tank? If so I may be going shopping again soon! lol

TT - forgot to mention that having a dragon with partially scaled eyes - he does just fine! He'll probably be totally blind in the future by which time he'll know the layout of the tank so I'm not planning to change anything in there.
