I wish we had aquabid here.  There are so many gorgeous ones. I saw the one at the lfs in that unusual chocolate colour it was so hard to walk away but I can't justify a 3rd tank

 
(1) You can bid on aquabid, on those listings which list as international. You then have to organise the import, but most betta sellers on there will point you in the direction of their recommended import agent.
(2) Many of the sellers also list their own websites, Therefore, you can often buy direct from them, but again you have to organise the import.
