Hi, ive got a 10g setup which can be viewed on the members picture page, it has 1 platy and 2 dwarf frogs (african) with an underwater filter tray... seems to be doing a good job but today im going to buy a fairly basic filter, im a bit strapped for cash hense basic. I bassicly have a choice out of the aqua-flow 2 from a petstore or the stingray elite from pets at home, ive been told by some to get the stingray becuase there good for my sized tank, but im not to sure as the pet store with the aqua says the aqua is better! you cant win, what do you wizard think as ill take your advice over some spotted dick at the pet shop!! cheers girlz and boyz

yep stingray is cool got one in my 20 and 30 gallon tanks add some polywool into the spaces in it but not directly under the blades.

hi guys thanks for the good feedback much appreciated, i ended up buying the fluval 1, so now ive got a 1.5foot long tank (10g) an undergravel filter tray with air pump and a fuval 1 filter and obviously the heater etc.. with one platy and 2 african dwarf frogs.. soon more fish will be added.. just about to install the fluval into the tank, so hopefully i should have a nice clean tank.. anyone know about fluval 1`s? any good for my setup? you guys are the king daddios of fish and i do appreciate all this help you ppl give me. <3

the fluval 1 is an ok filter for a small tank

we have one running the 3 gallon hex tank and it does a good job
