Fish You Will Never Buy Again.

1 Bettas--zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
2Emperor tetras---I cant remember ever seeing one of them move!

Wow...some of those really surprise me. I'm curious as to people's negative experiences with the cories and kuhli loaches (along with the other fish). I don't think they are any fish I would never have again. Different species just offer different things to me, I guess. If I had to pick one, though, I would probably say banjo catfish. Never saw him, but I knew that when I got him.

Danios. Eat everything b4 anyone else can get near the food, nippy and picky towards anything when bored, which is pretty much all the time.
Tetras are ok. Yeah they do spend a fair bit of time doing very little but are very good to watch when displaying spawning behaviour.
I'n
m not keep on anything overly aggressive either but not because they've done anything wrong really. I just don't feel I have the experience to give them what they need and simply can't mix with the fish I love so much.
Bettas are so not boring! My Ollie is so full of character. Like many of my fish he responds to my voice and gets all excited when I go for a chat with him. And it isn't food related. He'll respond no matter what time of day it is, even if he's just been fed and has a full tummy.
All fish have pros as you can learn something from them all. The real issues arise from experience, ability (or the lack thereof both the latter) and personal preferences on our own parts.
Hugs,
P.

Probably livebearers just because I want something different, I do have some Mollies now but am waiting for them to die before I try something new, I do like livebearers so i shouldn't say I will never buy any again because they are pretty :)

Tigerbarbs...those guys are little mosters and terrors. They terriozed my tank ;-)

Goldfish.

After keeping them in the recommend space in a tank inside, I still think they're much better suited to ponds, which is a shame because they're a highly underrated fish. I'm not sure I support the mutations of them much either.

Red Velvet Swordtails - every single one I've bought has been a plague carrier or died within a week. The only good that's come out of them is learning the importance of a quarentine tank. Other colors of swordies do fine but I think I'm cursed when it comes to red velvets.

There isnt really any fish that I hate, in fact there isnt really any animal that i hate. I cant see why you guys hate platys, guppies and kuhli loaches, or plecs, or tiger barbs, or any of those :/

Although i dont hate any fish itself, i do hate it when people put goldfish in unsuitable places, ie., bowls, with tropicals, ect. and i hate it when people dye fish. It does not make them look better. It makes them look like mutant freaks, the poor things. :-( :grr:

Chestnut is very right.
Although I could really live with any living fish, I dont Hate any fish.
There are just some fish i think are not as cool as others...

For anyone whos wondering why my list is so long, its because there are either fish that I had bad luck with or fish that I've kept and didn't really like/ they weren't as great as everyone thinks. I like to get different fish and oddballs, if you noticed there were only a couple oddities and cichlids that i won't get again ;) I may buy some of those fish again, but I probably won't be too excited about them :D

I don't think I'll every buy any more black Khuli loaches. I rarely see them. I enjoy my Dojo loaches much more. They're much more active.

But I hate to see everyone bashing the goldies. Although I'm not a huge fan of the fat goldies. But I absolutely adore my large comet, and shubunkins. They're deffinately underrated fish. They're gorgeous.
