Fish Or Kids?

I just keep fish at the moment as I find I can fit far more of them into a 55g.I reckon you could only squeeze 1 or maybe 2 kids in there and the ammonia level would probably be sky high after a day or two

You're right- they are huge waste producers!

Big poopers, especially the little ones. Imagine vacumn-cleaning that gravel! I would go bare-bottom in that tank, minimal decorations, etc...

Babys also find fish relaxing to watch. I always parked my kids in front of the tank when they were small.[/size]

I like this idea think it much better than parking infront of the "electronic nanny!"

I have a 19 month old daughter, Cara and pregnant with a baby boy, Daw, due May 5th. Oh, and fish.

Good luck for May the 5th, I'm due on the 17th of June my first not sure of sex yet but can hardly wait!

I had to get a cat to cover the last "I want kids" talk. And have been using the fish tank to avoid the topic... but I think shes just been putting her BC pills down the sink in the morning trying to pull a fast one on me

One fish tank, two kids.

I get to talk about my kids all the time I'm not on here (and even when I'm on here sometimes). This is my cave where I can escape into my little world of fishkeeping.

Of course they are my world but one needs peace time sometimes!
