Once again some amazing pictures! A really tough choice, with many people recieving more than 1 picture to enter the competition it was a tough decision to decide what to do, for this month we have decided to include them all, as freshmike (you photographic genius ) would have his pictures rolling on for 3 months otherwise! In order for this to be fair for the other people we are running on strictly votes per photo not per member, I hope this is fair to all of you and good luck!!

Had to vote for FreshMike3. Don't even know what kind of cichlid that big blue fella is, but he's gorgeous.

P.S. They're all beautiful fishies this month!

Thank you very much Aquanut!! Sammy is a Sciaenochromis ahli aka electric blue ahli.....I have 4 good males, but he is definately the best looking of them.

Groovy... how big do they get? Can they live with those really pretty electric yellow cichlids, or am I way off base? I know nothing about cichlids. )

Males get to be about 14" and females can reach 10" or more.
I don't see any reason why you couldn't keep them together....I have malawi cichlids and tangs in the same tank......I think alot of cichlid keepers frown on this practise, but I am not one of them I guess!

Marine seems to usually beat freshwater, not all the time, true, but should we have a marine competition and freshwater competition separately? Or would that mean ginamoore would always win?

Ouch david, as you see the birchir I put (2nd) I lost the entire list when my computer decided to restart and did it all again but left out your severum, its a real beauty! In order to keep it fair with other fish already having the votes we'll roll him over into the next month if thats ok with you, otherwise he'd have to play a quick game of catchup!
