Have never seen Fire Rasbora before, not in the 5 years I've been working in a shop or visiting shops. Don't think I even remember seeing them available :/ am sure they aren't that rare but still... cant place having seen them...

I haven't seen them either I was just looking at pics of all stunning rasboras-chilli and galaxy being my favourite!
I have seen that fish in your pic but I will never remember how I got to it lol!

Its not the same as one posted in this thread by someone a while back, though they do look similar lol

I can't see your pic MBOU  :(

I can see it now, had to refresh. I answered XD

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm not Danio erythromicron!!! or however it was spelled, besides, I have generally seen them under the common names of emerald rasbora and crossband rasbora (I know they aren't classified as a rasbora but its the common names they are generally seen as)

Hmmm.... When I search those common names all I get is Danio erythromicron and Microrasbora erythromicron

Which is exactly what I already answered with...

Is it - Devario auropurpurea

nope

Edit... ahhh wait... hang on...

It is Devario auropurpureus which is close enough, stumped me there as I always knew it as Inlecypris which is where you'll find all the images too... I assume its been reclassified!

Yup... I kept them 5 years ago and they were reclassified 4 years ago and so I never noticed they were reclassified! Gorgeous species though!
