IMO: I wouldn't replace the japonica with hairgrass. The different heights of the plants are giving the right side a nice depth and contrast. You don't have contrast with colors, and the differences in texture and heights are giving you what colors would. Hope that made sense.

Yeah made sense, just not 100% liking that side and want to use some japonica in another scape and don't want to buy anymore! ha! would love to add some different colours/textures if you have any suggestions for that

ha ha I hadn't really noticed it untill you just mentioned it! but blimey yeah looks horrible! hopefully have an UP Atomiser soon so wont have the CO2 tubing in the tank anymore yay! yeah the left side will be the same except i'm wanting to plant something tall to the left of the wood.

Atomizer has arrived for my Fluval 205 but the pipping doesnt fit correct because of the 'ribbing' can you purchase new tubing for fluvals without the stupid 'ribbig'?

i think you can replace it, but not sure on the size, that's why i ditched my 305 and got a couple of Tetratec 1200's instead as the UP Atomiser fits perfectly as do inline heaters.

Tizer, Do you think there is any risk to an inline heater and atomizer on the same tubing? I've been wanting to add an atomizer but was worried about all of the connections.
