First Proper Planted Tank

More connections is always more risky, i try not to think about mine springing a leak, i think i'd cry

Since i've got two filters i'd have the atomizer on one and the heater on the other, but with only one filter, i'd probably have the heater on the "in" tube (if that's allowed) and the Atomizer on the "out" tube. I'd probably add jubilee clips to all the connections too, just being careful not to over tighten.

I'll have to look into the heater running on the in. Not sure if it should run upside down. Thanks for the thought. I guess it'd good I have black co2 tubing.

I removed the plant that was behind the wood to start with and replaced it with some more myriophyllum mattogrossense. any other plants that look like they are lost are just hidden behind growth

That is what I expected... Nice plant that matogrossense; I am a big fan of myriophyllums. I think they look so much nicer than cabomba.

I agree, It grows really well too and I love the look of it.

thanks, its 5 weeks between the 2 shots..... the green stuff is......... algae! ha! but I like it so haven't cleaned it off
