i have a 14 year old fire eel when i bought him he was thinner than a pencil but i probably paid 8 quid for him. hes now a monster. if someone can explain how i can post pics i will.

how big is he and what do you feed him on? my 20 inch one is a bit stuck on worms and prawns and I want him on more variety

Just thought i'd chime in with pricing -- in Australia a 30cm (11.8") Fire Eel sells for about $300
