finally im gonna be back in the marine game, its just not enough looking after a 1000 litre tank at work i need one at home !


got a rio 300 today swopping it for my 180 traced its last 3 owners and they havent used copper but going to run it filled with polyfilter for a while to be sure, it needs a damn good clean too!

not gonna opt for a sump now i have an overflow box if i wish to add one later. il start a tank journal with a picture of how it looks now mank! i just couldnt hider my excitment haha so wish me luck

i forgot to put my main question on here!


i keep forgeting what sand i need to get, i dont want rubbishy live sand, can i use an inert sand or do i need to find an aaragonite
