Looks good the, think the Betta will love it, once it's planted up

Thanks I just got my 25 foot water changer and was eager to try it out so I used this tank in case I screwed up and it works great!! I did a 50% w/c in like 5 minute (+30 minutes to figure out how it worked lol.) I can't wait until I find that perfect betta for it. I want it to be perfect because it's on my desk where I do my homework everyday :D

Hey! I just ordered the Fluval Chi today! It should be here on wednesday, and I'm working on getting all the extras set up. I am going to get a betta and was thinking of adding 5 zebra danios as well. I would rather have neon tetras because I love their colors (and I always had some form of pretty little tetras when I was younger), but I'm not sure if they are TOO small to have with a betta.

Anyways, I am excitedly waiting for you to post pictures of the tank (no pressure there)! And I also want to know how your tankmates all get along once you get them. Also, how many plants are you going to have in there? Because there's only that little square middle part, and adding other plants around it might disrupt the "chi" of the Fluval Chi, if you know what I mean. I got the simple fake grass for the middle, but I still have to decide another tall flow-y plant to shove in the middle of that. Also I haven't got the lid because my husband said because it is twelve dollars we need to "wait and see" if we need it. I hope that doesn't mean "wait and see if a fishy jumps out and dies". I could probably make a lid out of some sort of... something...

Exciting!

Danios need a much bigger tank, really, much bigger! They are fast swimmers and will not be happy in such a small tank.

Yeah, basically I have come to the conclusion that I will just get one betta and let him be happy all by himself. I have my fluval chi all set up with decor and plants, now I'm just fishless cycling it. Let me know if anyone wants to see a picture or anything. :)

I got a betta, 5 ghost shrimp and 3 endlers last night. I was going to do the galaxy rasboras but I saw the endlers and couldn't resist. I didn't think they sold endlers near me but spotted these cobras at petsmart while looking for the ghost shrimp so I got 3 of them. Could I get more of the endlers or shrimp? The betta was marked as male Berra but I think he's a veiltail. I put up a morror to see what he looked like when he flared and he's beatiful. He's got a nice beard and nice long fins. He has a little tear or two in his tail but I saved him so I hope to fix him up. He's got a black face and a blue/green mix body. I'll get pics up later/ or tomorrow.

You could add Mystery Snails, 2 or 3 Zebra Danios, or perhaps two adult Guppies. Be careful, because Petsmart sells a lot of live plants labeled as aquarium plants when they are actually terrarium plants.

I'm not doing those snails I've already had a problem with them I'm going to do 1 or 2 nerites instead and zebra danios need groups of 6+ and a 4 foot tank. Sorry to burst your bubble. And I know which plants youre talking about I'm not planning on those.
