Finally Ordered My New Fluval Chi! With Pics!

Hmm what else could I add because they're already sick and I don't wanna add to the stress.

Post a pic of it now you have it set up, would like to see it

Btw did you set up the 5 gal hex you bought for the Betta? Would like to see pics of that too

I'll try and get em up tomorrow I'm really busy.

I don't think we're going to see any pics.
That's a shame as I've only seen Chi's in my Lfs, was interested to see what it'd be like set up properly

Why not post some pics on the show off your tank thread, I'm sure everyone would like to see them
It's lovely seeing everyone's set ups

K I'm trying to get my pics up but I'm having a tough time. Just too busy. Today was my dads birthday so I wasn't home most of the day and the time I was I was doing chores and homework. Tomorrow if I finish my homework I'll get some pics up.

Hey! I just ordered the Fluval Chi today! It should be here on wednesday, and I'm working on getting all the extras set up. I am going to get a betta and was thinking of adding 5 zebra danios as well. I would rather have neon tetras because I love their colors (and I always had some form of pretty little tetras when I was younger), but I'm not sure if they are TOO small to have with a betta.

Anyways, I am excitedly waiting for you to post pictures of the tank (no pressure there)! And I also want to know how your tankmates all get along once you get them. Also, how many plants are you going to have in there? Because there's only that little square middle part, and adding other plants around it might disrupt the "chi" of the Fluval Chi, if you know what I mean. I got the simple fake grass for the middle, but I still have to decide another tall flow-y plant to shove in the middle of that. Also I haven't got the lid because my husband said because it is twelve dollars we need to "wait and see" if we need it. I hope that doesn't mean "wait and see if a fishy jumps out and dies". I could probably make a lid out of some sort of... something...

Exciting!

Hi and welcome to the forum! :hi:
I'm going to do argentine sword plants in mine and I may take the box out but maybe not. I'm debating. I'd advise you not to get neons or zebra danios, as zebra danios need a minimum of a 3 ft. tank with 4 feet being much better. The neons because there just isn't enough room for them. I have also been told this. Look at I believe it's fishy friend2's thread 'betta' care for my betta! for compatible tankmates. :good:

I'm working on the pics.
