Fin Rot Getting Worse :(

Chai's fin rot is slowly getting worse.
I've been doing big water changes, medicating the tank, adding small amounts of aquarium salt and still it's getting slowly worse
What else can I do? If anyone has any ideas, me and Chai would both really appreciate it.

What meds have you used? I've used myxazin and mine is getting better. Can you describe what he looks like? You could also try indian almond leaves.

I've been using Fungus and Fin Rot Medication by Interpet. At first, he was getting better, but now he's deteriorating again.
The tips of his fins have some rips in them, but not very deep. Where he had 2 pin holes, there's now a chunk of his fin gone. There are also brown patches on his fins closer to his body. I'll try and get a pic for you Even though his fins are like this though, he's more active than he's ever been.

I would certainly give myaxzin a go, it worked for me and now its working for Marie

My mum is just ordering me some large indian almond leaves (a supply that should last around 5 months) and some myxazin, too
I also managed to get some shots of him (even though they are out of focus, and the glass is dirty (sorry!)

Yeah he looks like mine, he had holes and some tore. The myxazin is working for me.

Myxazin has always worked for me too. It's a 5 day treatment. Don't do any water changes during treatment time. Do a partial water change once the treatment has finished. You may need to give a second course of treatment, so try not to worry too much. Best of luck

Just an update..
Both the medicine and the leaves arrived yesterday, so I put in a carbonated filter cartridge to get rid of any of the previous meds (there shouldn't have been any anyway, I hadn't dosed in a week). Then, this morning, I switched it back to one with no carbon, dosed the tank and added an almond leaf

Let's hope we see some improvement soon!
