Filter Current

How do I stop my filter current as I feel like its to strong I have a whisper tetra filter my neon tetra and my betta have to swim alittle harder just to get to the other side of my tank any ideas on how to fix this current issue

Face the outlet towards the glass or try and direct it with wood etc.

a peice of filter wool or sponge on the outlet to disapate the water

but isn't dissipating the water bad or it shouldn't matter how strong or how low the current is as long as they get filtration ?

Some fish wont like it. Does your filter have an adjustable outlet? Most of the popular ones nowadays do, you could potentially throttle it back slightly if it is too large for your tank.

well i have a whisper tetra thinking of getting aqua clear filter but im scared that the ammonia is gonna rise what should i do
