I hope this will create a good debate for all the fish lovers in the forum. This poll might become very useful to use the next time you shop.
Thanks jacblade for starting this conversation

I perfer Stresscoat because of the added fish slime which helps protect the fish :kana:

Proaquatics water conditioner.... It was cheap...works fine I guess. The dosage is 1 tsp per 10 gal and I bought a set of cheap measuring spoons just for the fishes. I also have the proaquatics ammonia lock and bactera starter that I got when I got my first tank but I never use them.

edit: I think proaquatics is the petsmart exclusive brand? can anyone confirm?

yep sure is, it's there generic brand like sams choice is for walmart (well kinda, petsmart has a bazillion different brands that are theirs; exquisicat, authority, award, top(insert animal body part here: fin, paw, wing, etc), etc, etc)

Use Stresscoat myself, always used it and always done the job so see no need in changing it ;)

Aquasafe here, and little known fact unless you read the small print, it has exactly the same stuff in it (aloe vera etc) that Stress Coat does, and does a similar job with the slime coat etc.

You left out the "I stand my water for 24hrs and pray to the great gods of waterchanges that my local water supplier doesn't use chloramine" option ;)

I recently gave my extra mollys to my LFS and he provided Aquasafe in return. So thats what I've got at the moment.

currently using stresscoat, its what my lfs guy gave me so have been using it since (looking to buy it and stress zyme in bulk if i can find a good price)

I use my high pressure system to remove chlorine - Just blast it into a bucket - Job done

Chrloramine doesn't come to the UK!!

I have got some dechlorinator - its in a yellow bottle - Might be aquasafe - But I only use it for the anti stress factor when I'm playing about with plants and stuff

i dont know how much bulk you mean but they have a 1 gallon tub of it at www.thatpetplace.com for $25 (plus like $7 shipping probably). i use stress coat .

i aksed the shop keeper which one he recomended out of the ones he had in stock (aqua safe and stress coat) and i bought a big ol bottle of stress coat and am still barely into that bottle.
