External Filter Tests

Since this is for externals i will make another thread for the internals as it kinda breaks what this thread is about really

Sponge

Basket 4:
Sponge
2 Carbon Bags
Filter Floss

Standard length hoses and fittings.

Tested for 30 seconds.

So, 7.2 x 2 = 14.4 litres a minute.

I'm guessing from that comment, Jinkz, that you have an ex1200 too? If so, could you test it anyway please? This thread will only be useful if several of the same filters are posted up so we can see how much they vary :) minnnt actually has 3 of these and will be posting the others up soon (I hope! :p), so if you could do yours as well it'd be really helpful! :good:

I knew some mug would do the ex1200, i couldnt be bothered to move either of mine to try it :D nice one minnnt :D

Awww c'mon Tizer! The whole point is that everyone does them, even if it's the same filter!

Yeh more ex1200 please as i am thinking of getting one. That is only if i can sneak it past my missus without her seeing it though :D
