This tank has gone through a lot of changes over the years - including severe thinning out of fish! I've decided less is better :) My tank might not be super inspirational, but practical for the fish - especially my two Pictus catfish zooming up and down. Sadly they are far to fast to get a nice decent photo of them :/

Very pretty. I love all the colors.

I am curious.. where did you get the driftwood that is in the third picture?? I am looking for a piece similar to the one on the left.

Thanks,
Kyle

Love the rainbows Bloo. Same gravel over 4 years?

What is the current stock?

Oh hey, i just noticed the betta. How she doing?
Thanks Snowy :) Unfortunately she died - I think it was old age. She loved cruising with the bigger fish though and all got on really well.

Thanks Kyle. I got that from my lfs and had it in my tank for 3 weeks. I only chucked it out when it became too manky and just "old". The fish loved it though and I had about 6 fish inhabiting just that pieces of wood.
I picked up some fairly similar pieces at another shop recently - see this thread - though from the Angle I have it set up, you can't really see it well in the tank (the last full shot tank pic in this thread).

Thanks AMS. The Rainbows are definitely my favourite. And if (when!) I get a larger tank, I'll get some Red Rainbows again too. They are just the loveliest fish for sure.
Yep - same gravel - it's done very well.
Current stocklist in in my profile, but it's:
4 Boesmani Rainbow
1 Molly, 1 Whiptail cat, 2 Pictus catfish, 1 Kuhli Loach
3 Botia Kubotai
2 Danio Hikari

I know I really need more Kuhli's and Danio's, but I've lost two Kuhli's in that tank in the Juwel filter (they got badly mangled up when they somehow got into the filterbox). And the last remaining one has survived a gravel vac attack ( ) and has been with me since the beginning almost.

The Danio's somehow don't seem to do well in my tank either (I think the waterflow & current is not fast enough, even though it runs on an Eheim 2224) so I'm not getting any more of them either.

Really cool photos, the change of background made a huge difference I think!

Lovely neat, clean tank. Gorgeous fish. I love your little botia's. Very cute  And that cat is adorable.

Thanks everyone - it's the cat's favourite spot! He loves the heat the lights generate and he also often hangs over the side and paws the glass - which leaves paw prints all over the place  and after all these years he still hasn't figured out he's never going to get any closer to them.

 Thanks everyone. Looks like the cat is more polular then ! If anyone wants to see more photos of him, they are here :good:
