my mom used to give me like 30 dollars for ever A ... so i'd get like 180$ every 6weeks but back then (wich was 2 years ago) i hated fish (yea i used to talk about fighting bettas and starving fish... i thought i was a hard core freshman by saying those things now i cant stand to even see them look sad ) so i spent the money on like.. clothes

Lucky you, daudy! Sadly, I'm not a great scholar. I am way too busy with my horses and fish to think about homework My parents are cheap, but now that theyre doing this money thing, maybe I'll study harder. I only got one A, the other 7 grades were B's...

i ahve so many fish to tend to... and i dont ever get home work i do all my work in class hehe mokst people call me the "hard-rocking punky freaky bookworm that likes to eat hotdogs in between her studies of massive ancient history" you ask anyone at my school and they will tell you to stay away cause i am nuts


once my bio teacher brought his goldfish to skewl... they were commons and they were being kept in a unlighted tank that was 20Gs if it was only 2 in there i would of been ok but it was like 4 and there was no filter... i kindly intterupted him and told him about the situation, while this was happening i had slipknot playing in my CD player and i have gum in my mouth and my hair was in some crazy doo im so weird!!

I wanted to kill one of our bio teachers who kept a common goldfish in what looked like a 5 gallon, un filtered tank with only gravel. I felt like saying, "you are a BIO teacher, you should know enough about animals to know that GOLDFISH DON'T BELONG IN BOWLS!" But he probably would have failed me.

he did ... cause i scooped them out and put them in these 4G totes and deep cleaned his 20G while in class then walked down to my LFS and bought him a filter and a heater then i put them inside the clean home that they deserve... jeez man people!!

Oh my gosh, you sure took action on that situation! I was ready to steal the goldfish being held captive at my school, but they took him home earlier than I thought so he wasn't tehre when I went to go buy/steal him... Oh well, he saved me from being caught I guess.

lol i was gonna take them home at lunch cause my house is a 10min walk from the skewl... my chemistry teacher has a tank in her room its like a ... umm... 45G tank with a fantail goldfish in it... and thats it

EDIT: My father officially rocks. Ok, so I set the laptop down so I could go upstairs and check on my fishies. My dad must have read this thread I left up, because he came up to me, and said,

"Hey, tomorrow, if you're interested, I have a weeding job for you. You could earn five bucks, and put it towards another fish. Just don't tell your mother... "

LOL, now that i'm into keeping fish (which i guess is very bad when it comes to finances considering I had $750 in my savings account for my trip to scotland, and now it has become a mear $350) lol, it seems like all my money and time goes into these little guys. good thing i have a "decent" job. And now that i'm in college, I'm with everyone else, I don't get any work done. I'm taking all distance learning classes right now, and u know what, we've been in them for like 5 weeks already and i've yet to open a book. Hope I get some A's. LOL.
