Emergency, Please Help

I have been using Myxazin for two days now, it appears to be helping so far. I have been mixing it in with fresh water and then adding it to the tank, can I add it directly to the tank without doing that?
I think so... Just instead of diluting it, add a smaller amount.

Just drip the medication in by the filter outlet. The water will mix it in pretty quickly. That's all we did in the shop and we never had an issue.
Thank you that works great!

I'm on day 3 of Myxazin now, and the Kanaplex has arrived, I should have thought about this before but can I mix them/ do I need to wait a few days to use kanaplex/ do I need to get the myxazin out of the water column?

No you can't mix medications. Finish the Myxazin and see how the fish looks after that. If it's no better, then do 2 x 80-90% water changes and gravel clean the substrate. Wipe the inside of the glass down and clean the filter too. then try the anti-biotics.

Ok, I would like to fast track the Kanaplex though, I don't think the Myxazin is doing enough. Should I spread the two water changes out over 2 days or can I do it in one day?

If you have to go to anti-biotics now, do 2 water changes today and then treat. Do one water change, wait a few hours and do another, then treat.
Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it's added to the tank.

I really hope it helps because I don't like the way he looks today. He has hemorrhaging all over the place and is looking more swollen. Poor little guy has fought hard but if this doesn't work I don't think anything will 😥

I can find information online stating that probiotics are beneficial to fish, but I can't find anywhere to buy probiotics for fish. Is there a commercially available probiotic for fish? Some people suggest probiotic yogurt but that sounds like a bad idea because of all the varying factors. I have repto boost but I doubt that is safe for fish. I also have esha optima, which I think is just trace minerals/ vitamins etc (possibly just glorified food) i'm thinking it can't hurt to use that with Kanaplex. I'll do more research though, just thought I would ask here incase anyone knows.
