I didn't say that. You're not supposed to do that?

Partly, it comes from learning how to properly research info. This was something I was taught, way back in school. That's why it makes it so hard to figure out what to do! Who do I listen to, who do I not listen to, and how do I even figure that out when I have no experience myself
And exactly what is wrong with that advise. Unless you don't want the moon to see you nakedDid you know that the internet would also suggest that we all dance nekkid under a gibbous mood, turning widdershins until the aliens send us a sign.
You can try Waterlife Myxazin. It is meant to be milder and less harsh to fish than Protozin or Cuprazin. Myxazin is also meant to treat bacterial infections so maybe give it a go.I was thinking of trying Waterlife Myxazin next. The active ingredients are Malachite Green and Acriflavine Hydrochloride. Does anyone have any experience with it?
What does it need exactly there are a lot of drugs being suggested here.the goldfish has a bacterial infection and needs something
So, we are at post #55. You have decided it is bacterial, it needs acriflavine, so why is there any discussion.something that kills bacteria, acriflavine does
Ok, thank you I will try it. I've been doing some reading on acriflavine on it's own and this place https://www.koicarp.org.uk/medications and their uses.htm says they use 10x the dose I won't be doing that but does it mean that a standard dose is unlikely to be enough? You can try Waterlife Myxazin. Malachite Green won't do anything but the Acriflavine might help.
In an ideal world I would wait for a diagnosis, I don't think he has time. If it is a bacteria infection it needs to be treated asap. I'm already preparing myself for the fact that I might not be able to save him I am trying to be very careful and cross referencing/ asking several people what I should use to treat him but without a vet, without people who know what they are talking about seeing him in person, without lab tests, we can only guess. Please just be 100% sure what the disease is before you start treating. Remember that the condition you see could be a secondary infection to something else. Don't just treat for the sake of treating. It may make you feel better that you are doing something for your fish but is it helping the fish.
I said it was bacterial in my first post #4.So, we are at post #55. You have decided it is bacterial, it needs acriflavine, so why is there any discussion.
You don't want to overdose Malachite Green because it is toxic. Just use the dose on the bottle.Ok, thank you I will try it.
