That's great! Sadly I think it is true that your fish wont last. But DO NOT add another fish straight away... You will have to cycle your tank, but even before restarting id change out everything.... Filter, heater, decor... I would do this to take precautions because we do not know what really happened to your fish and its better to be safe than sorry. Id clean out the tank with some vinegar and an unused sponge (make sure to rinse out your tank really well) vinegar will be just fine for an aquarium because its not harsh and its natural. But don't use vinegar when you have fish in the tank as it is good in SMALL quantities but can affect ph levels. Ive used it before, in fact I just used it recently to clean some dragon stone... After you use vinegar always rinse really good (it should be safe but you always should rinse it out to be sure)... Then you can get the new filter, heater, and decor (for a filter I would recommend a seachem tidal or an aquaclear) and then make sure to start your cycle of course. I wish ya the best!

No, minimum tank size for a bn is 30 gallons... And even if you had a 30 gallon tank, I still wouldnt because of there being the cordoras in there (they'd get along but you'd be overstocking the bottom levels of your tank) but if you got a 40 gallon then you could possibly fit them all... Please note I said "possibly"
