EMERGENCY! Dying fish. Bullied guppy. Need help

So in inches, that’s 20x14x18. Those are the dimensions of a very tall 10 gallon:blink: Because of this, you are more limited on stocking. Instead of 5 albino cories, you could consider a group of 8 to 12 Pygmy cories. I think you could do a bristlenose pleco, but you would need to choose the pleco or the cories, not both. Bristlenose plecos need at LEAST 20 gallons, because of how much waste they produce. The cories would be a better choice and likely more enjoyable to watch.

I know this is completely off topic, but i found out that my cycling tanks actually 22 gallons thanks to the guy with that neon tetra profile picture. My current stock is 2 dwarf gourami's, 5 albino cory catfish and 8 neon tetras would it be fine to whack a brislenose pleco in there. If it because im overstocked maybye i can remove some neons.
I think that stocking should be ok, as long as you don't add all at once and check tank is ready. Especially if you have plants. One gourami might be better than two. Or three as long as just one male (the girls will be less stressed as he can only pester them one at a time). Personally I would go for four or five more neons rather than a bristlenose. But that's just me

Wait... How could it be a 10 gallon if its deeper and taller?

It’s 22 gallons, but the dimensions of the base are basically that of a ten gallon. The 4 inches difference front to back is great, but the length is a very important factor when it comes to what fish you can choose. For instance, the smaller Pygmy cories would do better with that tank length than the larger albinos

Sometimes the base dimensions or "footprint" is more important than volume, because it means more swimming space. Small fish might not need a massive number of gallons because they don't weigh much. Most small fish are advised to be kept in a 60cm times 30cm tank. A "standard" 10 gallon has a 18inch * 12inch base.... that is what is meant.

Pygmy coy catfish are had to find so if i can have the corys maybye some otos.

Otos in my limited experience only eat algae and biofilms and stuff. I think after like 6 months and your tank is good and dirty in a good way and has stable water quality you would have room for maybe 2 otos - but only if they had some cory buddies to make them think they are in a larger shoal.

Personally I would go for normal cories; your tank technically isn't long enough but it has more floorspace than a 2 foot by 1 foot would have I think. I understand a lot her will not agree.

EDIT: reason Otos need lots of space per fish is otherwise they might run out of food unless you get lucky and they eat an algae wafer. I've heard they like bloodworm but will make them sick - but honestly I never seen mine eat anything I feed my fish with including bloodworm.

Yes, definitely... Just like my 20H

ok, thankyou. I just have this packet of algae wafers and i want a fish that will eat them, and a fish that eats algae.

Apparently after your tank is cycled you cant add all your fish at once? Your meant to add a few at a time. Is this true and if it is why? People keep saying your meant to including myraan.

Theoretically you can - but it's better to be safe than sorry. If you leave a week between each new addition of fish you can check for ammonia just in case.

It helps you beneficial bacteria keep up. Add too many fish at once and it won’t be able to handle it all. If you need to add all your fish at once, you can just make sure to test it and do water changes whenever there is ammonia reading
