The new Stellata arrived today along with some Staurogyne SP so this time I'll give it more time to melt and re grow as before I got to impatient, moved a few plants around too and gave the whole lot a trim so pics tomorrow ppl.

Your tank is lush =D

Shrimps are cool too...

Oh and I got the same filter as you, kicks out some serious current...I drilled out the holes in the spray bar bigger so its the same LPH but the flow is reduced.

I'm thinking of doing the same with mine, it's what came with my 60 so put it in the 35 lol, once the end cap came off the spray bar and the current tossed about a gallon over my unit in the night, done it again the next night too, now it's been glue gunned in place lol. Thanks for the comment mate, glad ya like it. :)

Oooh can't wait to see pics :)

Right then here's the pic's as promised, moved the Helferi along the front and bunched all the HM together as it gives better perspective of the low to high plants. Got some Stellata and Staurogyne from AE which has been added to the left as I couldn't wait for it to re-grow from an inch tall and the SP I've never been able to grow and fancied a challenge. :) A little pic heavy, sorry no more pic's of the Badis tho, he's shy and loves staying in the Stargrass jungle up he back.

Will be adding 12 Ember Tetra to this sometime soon, will give a great contrast in colours hopefully. Hope you like guys, any suggestions welcome. :)

The Stellata looks great!!

again, well done mate! :good:

Well after a complete clean out and re plant the other day after pesticides caused shrimp deaths I've got an empty tank, I'm thinking of something a little different for it rather than the usual, any suggestions? I was thinking maybe some tiny Dwarf Puffers but its got quite strong current in there. Anyone got any ideas? I don't want something I can only have one of and rarely see tho like my Badis.

Well I picked up some Rachovii Biera eggs last week for this scape, haven't raised annuals for years so thought I'd try my luck, plus the reds and blues will go well with the Dutch theme. Now fitted up with LED lighting too on this and after one day the result is amazing, Star Grass pearling and oxygen bubbles all over the surface :) very happy :). As the stems will be going nuts I'm gonna take a before pic after the next trim and then once I've done a bit of propagating over the next month I'll take another pic for progress, after that it will be hatching time for the killi's so fingers crossed :).

Update pic's, nothing special, waiting for it to grow up now its under strong LED's then I'll fill it out with trimming and propagating.
