Ebay Fish

Hi,

Well if your friend has a big tank i think they should get them just to get them off ebay, they keep being re advertised for at least the last month. Bear in mind they need at least 50 gallons per fish and the one thats supposedly fine looks dodgy to me. He was originally trying to sell them with that ridiculously small tank but got complaints.

Emma :grr:

Yeah, I've seen a thread on these boards about this ebay sale already, someone said one of them had a big ulcer. I can see a mark but I wouldn't personally be able to identify an ulcer off a pic like that, but I expect they know a lot more then I do.

I would be torn between buying a fish from a bad tank on account of it might die - and buying a fish from a bad tank to rescue it. I am a sucker for saving badly kept fish.

I don't think I would buy these though.

If he does want some parrot fish then he should go ahead and get them. If not only for getting them out of those conditions, the wound on it's side does look nasty but the key to any succesful healing is good quality water and using the correct treatment with the correct dosage, I would recomend getting some Esha 2000.

Or your mate to e-mail an offer through lower than the bid ammount, it sounds like it's been going a while so is properly desperate to get rid of them by now.
