Hey guys my brother just got me a 100L tank. :) my 3rd tank now.

What are easy to medium fish to breed. Nothing like guppies or mollys.

I have bred Corry's and want to use this tank for something different. Any ideas??

thanks

Well if it was a little larger i would have said Black Convict Cichlids. They are very aggressive fish, but are very fun to watch since they are full of personality. However, they do mate a lot, like once a month and each spawn has like 100 fry. kept my convicts in a 10 gallon once because my 75 gallon had problems. I only kept them there for about 2 days and during those two days....they spawned. I decided to move the male and female to the big tank and leave the fry in the 10 gal. Almost a month later....they spawned again with another 100+ batch lol. Good luck! If you want to go into convicts they are a great choice if you can take care of that many fish lol. Their rule is usually just put them in water. They are also very hardy fish!!!

Peacock Gobies!

Cheers guys they are all pretty fish aswell. i just enjoye watching them grow from fry its amazing. I might try either the peacock gobbies or kribs gona have a read up first see what i need and what they need.

Cheers

Some kind of apisto? Something easily sellable to local shops would be good...!

Yeah, do make sure it's something that has a good market! With most things that are easily bred it's very difficult to get rid of the fry, as they're so common.

My mum had a breeding pair of kribs a few years ago and ended up with tankfuls of fry she couldn't get rid of, for love nor money!

Maybe ask your local shop what they might be willing to buy from you. I reckon dwarf cichlids are the way to go because everyone wants those these days.

They are, but if the shops near you are anything like mine, they're everywhere. Even PAH is full to the brim of them here. Just a thought for moving them on.
