I always make sure test in the morning before I feed them, but i do use paper strips because they were cheaper. I reckon I'll start feeding them once per

I forgot to mention why I posted. One of my neon tetras has been sitting in the bottom corner of the tank under my moss ball. It seems bloated or fat or something.
(Pic is blurry because it swam away and i had to leave so I couldn't take another pic yet)

Unfortunately there are a lot more variables when doing a fish in cycle. IIRC the last time I did one (around 20 years ago) it took 14 weeks to complete the cycle.
