So is anybody else a fan of Doctor Who?
This is the thread to talk about it.

And remember us americans are still in series three so try to use spoiler tags and what not. :good:

My 10 year old Daughter is the biggest Doctor Who Geek in the world (her own description) she collects anything with a doctor who logo, and is totally obsessed (somtimes annoyingly so)

I quite like it too, but i think that series 3 is the weakest so far, and if you dont know i wont tell you what happens at the end of the series, but it was a very good twist, i dident see that coming at all!!!!!

I've been watching "The Doctor" for years, through all of his various incarnations. Even caught the movie where "The Master" finally got done in, though the bits about the hypnotic saliva and "The Doctor" being half human were really lame.
Overall, the costumes and makeup have come a long way from the older series, not to mention the f/x. Tom Baker was my favorite from the old days, and he always had the best-looking "companions". I'd like to see K-9 (0r K-10,11,12...) pop out of the tardis closet. :D

ive never seen doctor who until the newest series and everyone here loves it kids and grownups alike, my little boy 4 is completely hooked! he was amazed when k-9 showed up and has been waiting for him to come again ever since.
the chrsitmas special looks interesting - id love to know how they plan on getting him out of that!

xXx

ahh to go back to the days of Tom Baker...

I remember watching it as a kid with my mother... usually during the fundraisers for public television...

never got in to the new series.

I love Doctor Who and have watched it for years. The new series is great, especially with the gorgeous David Tennant playing the Doctor.
I must admit though, I'm not looking forward to the new series with Catherine Tate in it, I can't stand the woman!

Captain Jack is the coolest! Anyone going to watch Torchwood on BBC? That's his new show.
For once, the UK is in front of you B) We're waiting for the second series, well I am. It's a bit more adult themed than Dr Who, but in a similar vain. See if you can work out why it's called Torchwood ;)

I quite like Dr Who  I probably wouldn't if I hadn't enjoyed it when I was a kid. Tom Baker was my Dr too  And K9 was recently on The Weakest Link :D

I'd like to see Catherine Tate get confronted by a monster in the next series and actually say "Am I Bovvered" or "What a xxxxing liberty" that would make my day

torchwood = anagram of doctor who, its what the tapes were called before they were aired so that no one would no what it really was

I can't stand this show...

It is horribly acted, scripted, and it looks sooooo fake! Maybe it is because it is a low budget production, but still...wow. :shout:
