Do Fry Need A Filter?

got a spare 9litre tank, as my mollies about ready to pop think itll be tonight. do i need a filter or not? if they do can anyone suggest how to make a makeshift trap for them for this weekend? thanks

they'll need some form of filtration and heating, they do produce ammonia as well, however little they do. People tend to just use a sponge filter.

I use a regular filter with a sponge over the filter intake.

Ill have to pop out tomorrow and get one then! i have a spare heater but no flipping filter as it broke,

Becareful what kind of filter you get. Some can suck up the babies.
