Discus Volume

I believe the "rule" is 1 fish per 10g. Although I don't think this means you can stick 1 fish in a 10g.

there is no rule, as a guide for an easy life or inexperienced keeper 8-10 gal per adult fish is good.

"Discus Volume"

Mine are really quiet.

 Very good

Well, 3-4" fish prefur larger groups idealy, say one per 5 gals, but they will get to adults, so some from that group may need to be removed in time in a domsetic aquarium :good: If you are new to keeping, I'd stick to one to every 8-10g as the guideline surgests. Less fish=less waste and thus less chance of stunting while you get to grips with growing them out :good:
