Thanks they went int my new 210 litre tank today, picking up a pair of turqs tomorrow. disucs are lovely

Is ask him to be sure, I fell victim of cross contamination when I first started discus, lost 4 within a week after introducing new fish and the new ones are super healthy still to this day. Are they Asian or german?

Yeh he got them from the same place, n that sounds bad they should be fine

And not sure if asian or german

just keep a close eye on both new and old fish and you should be fine. are the new fish going to be around the same size?

ask him were they are sourced though, ie german or asian. as they are known to be a risk of cross contamination if mixed. id guess the ones you have now are asian from what they look like.

sorry if all my input is slightly doom and gloom but with discus you should always prepare for the worst just incase.
