Discus Pics Finaly

Hmmm...

How long have you had them?

2 weeks.

Yeah, they aren't stunted. I bet its just the picture angle.

I didnt think they were. What is your Ph at. Mine is 7.6

Thats ok right? They were captive bred.

Yep, should be okay. A bunch of members (including me) keep our Discus at anywhere from 7-8. Mine is in between 7.5 and 8, most likely closer to 7.5

Just making sure.

i added 10 cardinal tetra`s to my discus tank and they were all eaten within 60 sceonds

Hopefully just a funny angle, but the third pic down does look stunted, the fish is not round and the eye looks kinda large in relation to the body size. A lot of fish get stunted at the LFS if they are not familiar with discus, and they really shouldn't have been in a 10g. Much better to buy from a discus breeder/specialist if possible.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy them, personally I would have matched the water parameters of the suppliers, then made any adjustments once they settled if I thought it was needed.

Oh, was that an albino Corydoras in the last pic? If so they come from cooler waters and keeping them with discus will significantly shorten their lifespan.

hey how do i upload pics of my discus onto this?

i,ve had 30 cardinals with my discus for nearly a year no problems, maybe cause i've had my discus from young at the same time as the cardinals they've got use to each other, but i'm sure if i threw some young cardinals in now they would think i'm throwing them food.
