senegal bichirs. if there are petsmarts around you, go there and they will cost 6 dollars. im pretty sure somebody will have one around you. they will eat all your fish except your angels, and will probably die from eating a puffer. quick question, are all those fish in your profile one tank?

king eds gets senegals in sometimes.

As well as ornates and delhezis periodically

Hope you dont mind me saying that I think your tank looks really quite poor, not enough decor thats for sure, and as Dorkhedeos said, those fish better not all be in the one tank..

ya there is way more stuff in it lots of plant s and pots im to lazy to get a new picture i will eventually and ya those other fish r in a completle diferent tank. im talking about 1 for my new tank! i only have 2bolivianrams and 3 cockatoo dwarf cichlids! check my profile i think i made it more pasicic

The lowest price in BC will be at king eds. They are $6-8 for a 4 incher.

I know for a fact that everywhere else overprices them here due to their scarcity (yes even senegals are scarce).
Ornates retail for $69, same as delhezis. If you don't buy online, you won't get better prices.

I'm going to do a group buy for the Lower mainland area sometime in the next few months from a reputable guy. I've bought from him once already and everything went smooth. Have you seen bcaquaria.com?

will these guys eat bolivian rams or juvinile dwarf cockatoo cichlids. i have those curently and im hopeing they be ok. would about guppies they r usually on the top of the tank can they be eaten. neon tetra?king eds is to far way is there anypet stores around langely that will sell them for under 20 dolars?if any1 is willing to buy 1 that lives in a 20min distance from langely will pay 13 dollars for 1!

You can use their store locator to find the one closest to you. The store where I am has both senegals (5.99) and ornates (54.99).

Most places I've read suggest a 55 gallon for a bichir. Petsmart lists their max size as 12 inches, but they can easily double that as far as I've heard.

They definately take the "big fish eat little fish" addage to heart. If you have any fish that are smaller/would fairly easily fit into a bichir's mouth, they're good candidates for prey items.

My bichir really likes all the plants in my tank - he's more social during the day because he has all those plants to hide in. You might consider it for your tank
