So basically I would like to learn another language as it can't hurt right?, And my University offers free language courses so I was wondering between Spanish, French or German?

Well German, as you'll know, is similar (to an extent) to the English language. So this will probably be the easiest for you to learn, and the quickest. Spanish, is the most spoke language out of the three, so there is more chance of actually engaging in conversation with a Spaniard. French, I personally wouldn't want to speak to a French person.

Personally, i've always been keen to learn Greek.

I suppose it depends on what you want to achieve from it?

Edit: How is uni by the way?

Uneriffic!, It's fun although I've been drinking too much and not eating correctly . Mummy would be disappointed.

And I understand what you're saying, Spanish sounds fun but German sounds more pratical.

don't they do Klingon?? cos thats the way forward.

French! It's easy and i can prob tell you a few things....

I think I'd learn American.

Seriously, I would learn whatever makes sense. If you're going to end up going to France a lot then really French would make sense.

I want to learn spanish, so I'd say spanish (my boyfriends mam doesn't like this idea since she is Portuguese :)).

I learnt French and German at school but I picked up French much easier than German. Ironic now that one of my best friends is German :)

Debo aprender español....

However depends really with what your interested in, reading appliance instructions, then learn Chinese, but seriously it's becoming a good idea now to speak Chinese.

Spanish as said is very widely spoken throughout the world, also that way you could stay with us and get by in Colombia

Well... I'm available for (free) private tutoring in Afrikaans and Zulu  (As if That'll take you places!!)

If you were here in the US I would recommend Espanol..... but over there I would love to learn German.... allready speak Polish so maybe I have a head start!!!

Spanish all the way! :yahoo:
Spanish is my primary language along with english, once you know spanish, you will find it makes learning french, german, arabic, italian and similar languages very easily, the hard thing as nelly said is the pronounciation.
