hi, i have recently bought a panda cory which wen bought was slightly greyish unlike most panda's i have seen it just seems considerably darker in colour in comparison to my albino cory and other panda's i have seen

is this something to be worried about? i presume not but just thought i would check.
does anyoe else have a panda cory like this? i would b interested to find out if this is normal or not

thanks in advance for any help

i would like to point out that the panda is still white where it shud b just a more greyish and duller white than average
also that the panda is quite small and mayb this has something to do with it

If your water parameters are fine then I would say maybe it is just adjusting to it's new home. What other fish do you have in your tank? Also, how many other corydoras do you have with it? If you only have the albino with it, maybe it is not comfortable since there are too few of its kind.

You might not have a problem at all. It may be just it's natural coloration despite being different from the norm. I'm no expert at diagnosing fish ailments so I think Coryologist would be able to help you out since he breeds many kinds of corydoras.

yeah waters fine, thts wt i thought as a possibility, it lives wiv 2 albino cory an angelfish and a platy atm, i am however planning on getting 2 more panda cory for it in a couple of days.

i thought it might possibly b stress due to being moved because it was this colour in the bag before being released to the tank although most likely option is that this is its natural colouring but better to b safe than sorry i suppose

thanks for the help
