Cycling With Prawns Help!

ok ill wait till friday

well the fish i want are
12 neon tetras
5 sterbai corys
2 pearl gouramis
2 keyhole cichlids

I'd start with all the corys on saturday, then check the stats sunday morning. If they're still holding a 0,0 for ammonia + nitrites then I'd go and get either the two pearls or the two keyholes. Check stats the day after and if they're still holding get the next 'pair'. Then I'd leave it a week and finally get the full group of neons.

You have a very light stocking planned by the way... just though you'd like to know you can bump up some of the numbers over time if you wanted.
Perhaps increase the corys to 8, maybe get a small plec and possibly increase the neons to 15/16. :)

can i maybe add a diffrent species of fish instead of uping the numbers of what i already want???

Totally depends what it is, if it were me then I'd be extremely tempted to up the number of corys. But aside from them the rest will be more than happy in the groups you've picked.

can you think of a diffrent fish to add that would go well with what i want already??

I was thinking of something shoaling that would stick to the upper levels as otherwise you might find they're a bit 'empty'. Danios sprang to mind straight off, particularly glowlight danios, or leopard danios. Both are very pretty and you have room for a group of 8-10
