a mate is setting up a tank for a white eyed brown moray eel, it's already about 2ft

he's got all the equipment but is unsure on how to cycle the tank quickly for the moray.

I suggested buying a few large pieces of live rock which if I'm think right will instant cycle the tank?

i'm guessing feeding will have to be started up slowly after this.

it's his first marine tank purely to keep a good sized moray eel.

Pre cured LR would be the quickest way to go, no? Sh

right oh, i thought it might be.

as long as it's from a shop and back in tank conditions within a couple of hours allthe bacteria should be fine and shouldn't go through another cycle.

i supoose he could always ask for some media out of there system.
