i was under the impression that they were going to keep him, that's why they put him in the big tank :dunno:
 
Well, they also said he had an abnormally big humugo tail and he couldnt swim so they kept him..... ah I'll yell at them if they dont sell ;)

actually, from the looks of things, i'm beginning to think the male is totally hopeless anyways. the female has been ready and willing for 2 days now but he doesn't have a clue :rolleyes:
good question though sorrell, i admit it's not something i've given much thought to. hmmm

edit- just found this; "When a doubletail male (DTDT) is crossed with a doubletail female (DTDT), their offspring will be 100% doubletail (DTDT). However this crossing is not advisable!"

well, my wife was the one that really wanted to breed these two and i had hesitated at first, should have brushed up on my genetics first though, thanks for the heads up ;)
 
Too bad as they are both gorgeous fish, I'm sure you have something lying around for them ;)
