well i been thinking about sommat i planned a while ago its come from some ideas i have seen when i was younger
it was a huge fish tank built into a corner of a wall only 2 glass pannells as the from and then at the top ther was like a water fall going down to the tank and it lookd amazing with some under water lights and top lights lighting it up all heavily planted and even outside it was like rockery with all plants
well in the future (were talking a fair few years here) i am going to attempt to make 1 of thease i have an idea of how i am going to make the base core by building into the ground and fixking it all in place its sorta hard 2 explain and could proberly go extreamly wrong but i will take the risk im sure ill have fun doing it.

the main thing i would need know know is should i use extera thick glass of a thick plastick as my seethru walls? i was thinking plastic would be the best idea as its harder to break and as it would get cemented into the ground itself it wil have a little more play then glass

what do you reakon

it really is hard to explain what i will attempt and liek i said its a long time away but i have a good idea planned out but hopefully all will go well

anouther think that would be useful to know is the diamension will be roughly 6ftx6ftx4ft (were looking about 864 gallons  lol )

any ideas welcome

also 1 other think i need to find out about is the corner joints as i doubt highlt that scylicone itself will hold that sort water mass together i was think about adding a metal frame to the glass/plastic on the corners to strengthen it but how would i fix the frame???

polycarbonate or plexi-glass simular to ice hockey board glass, about 1" thick, as for the strength you would need to re-enforce the corner joints.

i think if you had an external metal frame bonded with high tensile bonding agent aswell as the water pressure forcing the plaexiglaa onto the frame it should hold, but i dont make tanks lol
