Crap!

An amphipod perhaps? My engineer goby practically lives off those.

Mine are kind of a dark slate gray when they get big, some a little lighter colored. They're lighter colored and clear when they're smaller.

Those have clear bodies...Im pretty sure the thing I saw was black.

I have the same things in my tank. They are a couple cm and look like little pillbugs? Ski said they were isopods or amphipods.

BTW, I know I already kindof asked this, but if you get "stung" by a bristleworm, is it only a painful thing? Or is it harmful to you?

EDIT: The smaller "bugs" in my tank are clear, but the bigger ones turn an off gray/grey color.

99.99% of people will react to a bristleworm sting with either pain, itching, rash, or all of the above.

0.01% of people will be allergic and have a localized allergic reaction usually involving swelling and hives ranging from moderate to severe. If you do have an allergic reaction, a trip to the emergency room or an epinephrine shot will do wonders :) Unless you eat the bristleworm, the allergic reaction will not be fatal, just really painful :D

Thats good to know its only dangerous if your allergic to it. Which hopefully I am not... Want to hear something funny? I'm allergic to water.

So then you're dead? :p Cause if you're allergic to that which makes up 70%+ of your total body weight, that can't be fun

Haha, oh if I had a nickel for everytime someone has thrown that at me... Nah, its my skin thats allergic to water when it comes into external contact with it(only my upper body). I break out in hives and get all itchy.

Funny you mention that september, my friend is allergic to the sun.

What is interesting about those is that My Mom is allergic to the sun --Hives rash ichy and swollen and my dad is allergic to Water... same sorta thing...... I am a little bit allergic to the sun AND Water... but not half as extreme as my parents... so uhh I guess I should be a withered hermit... funny stuff!

Hahaha, so nosey you people are. J/K, I bathe like a normal person... I just experience some itching afterwards or initially I took an anti-histamine. But after a while I just got used to it and learned to ignore it... Like I know its there, but i just block it out. Enough about that, lets not get off topic.
