Just make sure the bristleworm bits get eaten, removed, or at least really torn up...bristleworms can be diced up pretty good and still survive. I have a few that are basically worm heads running around and have still managed to reproduce. They look like pill bugs lol.

Not all of them. Hermodice is not your friend...if you see one of these puppies running around your tank, it's bad news:

ROFL. Yes, those are also bad news, especially in a nano.

i see one of them in my nano im gunna leave the room at a rapid rate lol

Yeah I know there good for the tank but there are too many. And I got the ones that are already 3-4inches long. I just want to make sure my tank doesn't get overloaded with them.

IMO there is no need to remove the worms, if you are worried about being stung, keep your hands out of the water, they are a great addition to a clean up crew

I think you are overreacting tbh

LOL I know but still eventhough there "good" I still don't want them. You can have them if you want :sly: . Also I was wondering if anyone can help me I.D this worm I found. It was yesterday night when I found this tube like worm it didnt have any pricks on it so I don't think it was a bristleworm. It was white and long but skinny. I hope its not one of those bad tube worms everyones talking about  :-(

There are bad tube worms?

they are a great addition to a clean up crew

True...but when there are too many really big ones populating unchecked, they can start snacking on other desireable stuff.

Yes but in most cases I have heard about or seen Bristle will only attack livestock when it is either dying, dead or the bristles have been without food for a long time

If you really want to get rid of them

Place a coke bottle in your tank with a small peice of meat etc at the bottom, the bristle will crawl in & you can remove them easily - may be an idea to see if anyone in your area wants them

Those white hair thin worms are also detritus eaters and are usually safe for the aquarium.

by usually does that mean they can be bad then? i spose with hithhikers there is always the posibility for tings to be bad and good providing the thing is hungry enough

There was this bug looking thing in my tank too. It was like an enlarged flea. Its about the size of a fly. It's black too, does anyone know what I'm talking about?
