We were told ages ago we'd need a booster in late autumn/winter.
Now they seem to be saying autumn boosters are just for the immunosuppressed, older people in care homes and the over 70's. I'm guessing these are the groups who had the pfizer vaccine which is showing as less protective against the dominant Delta variant? We were told ages ago we'd need a booster in late autumn/winter.
Why ?However a bit over 40% of the population simply does not want to get vaccinated.
We are not allowed to talk about politics. Why ?
I'm in Western Australia and want the vaccination but can't get oneIn the US we could prevent the spread of delta variant if people would get vaccinated since everyone who wants to be vaccinated can get one. However a bit over 40% of the population simply does not want to get vaccinated. And so it spreads....
The side effects are well known now and considering millions of people have had numerous different types of vaccine, that should alleviate the issues associated with being vaccinated.some choose not to get vaccinated .... it's called freedom of choice. Perhaps they have concerns of possible side effects.
But that is the gist of the problem in the age of the internet. Anyone can say anything and a lot of people have difficulty filtering out the 'obvious' bull. It was true before the internet but the internet allows it to spread faster and adapt to people resistance to believe at a much faster pace; though to be honest certain tv news cast are doing the same thing at an alarming rate (spreading false information). There is also a lot of misinformation out there which scares people into not having the vaccine.
Well, how could they ? They bring none active principle. I think in this case it is particularly a psychological state.Did you know placebos can have side effects too?!
