Allegedly the 2 new strains came from South Africa to the UK, so there is a better than evens chance you already had it there.Australia has the new strain of covid19 from the UK. It came in with a passenger who arrived from the UK the other day.
And a lady that came into Australia didn't want to go into quarantine and made a break for it. She spent several hours on the run and is now in prison, in a quarantine section because she has covid19. They are unsure how many people she contaminated when out in public but she went to shops and other places with lots of people.
We still have people coughing everywhere around my place and the government still won't do anything about it claiming there are no cases of covid in WA. What an absolute crock of crap. The only reason they say there are no cases here is because nobody is being tested.
Can you post a link about this? I am aware of the UK strain identified in early December which had its origins in London or Kent, then shortly afterwards a South African strain. I haven't heard that the UK strain came from elsewhere.Allegedly the 2 new strains came from South Africa to the UK, so there is a better than evens chance you already had it there.
Buried somewhere in all the news articles I read, didn't save it. I sit and read news articles while SWMBO watches telly. Didn't follow to the sources hence the "allegedly".Can you post a link about this? As stated, I am aware of a South African strain that the link refers to. What I cannot find any evidence for is the allegation that the UK strain originates in South Africa. It makes no sense? They came from south Africa
